Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address - to sign you in (passwordless magic link) and send claim confirmations.
• Your claims - the event, the public name and note you chose, and the amount paid.
• Basic technical logs - IP address, request paths and timing, kept short-term for security and debugging.
• A session cookie (ds_session) - strictly necessary to keep you signed in. No third-party or advertising cookies.

What's public

The name, note, and link on a claim are shown publicly next to the event. Your email address is never shown.

Processors

• Stripe - payment processing.
• Our email provider - delivery of sign-in and confirmation emails.
• Our hosting / backup provider - running the service and storing encrypted backups.

Retention

Account and claim data are kept while your claim stands. Request logs are rotated within days. You can ask us to delete your account; the public listing on any paid claim may be anonymised rather than removed.
